Halloween is approaching, and MTR Mall is launching its first-ever collaborative Halloween experience this year, spanning five major malls across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories — from THE SOUTHSIDE’s quirky and humorous ‘Fear’ Festival, to围方’s local ghost legends, Tsing Yi Citywalk’s sci-fi interstellar ‘Alien Buddies’, to the day-and-night festivities at PopCorn and The LOHAS in Tseung Kwan O. Each mall offers its own unique charm, delivering endless festive experiences. Whether you want to test your courage, embark on a space adventure, or dance the night away, you’ll discover surprising delights at MTR Mall and begin your very own Halloween adventure!

Mr. Tang Chi Fai David, Executive Director – Property and International Business of MTR CORPORATION, said that MTR Mall leverages its ‘Rail Plus Community’ advantage, aligning with the SAR Government’s event-driven economic strategy, to launch its first-ever MTR Mall Halloween event this year. Malls including THE SOUTHSIDE and围方 are collaborating to offer themed decorations and immersive activities. MTR Mall also utilizes its convenient network to launch a cross-district ‘stamp collection’ campaign, encouraging residents and tourists to ride the MTR and explore different districts, fully revitalizing the surrounding consumption chain. In the future, MTR Mall will regularly host music and cultural events to drive foot traffic and create economic benefits for merchants.

Tsing Yi Citywalk ‘Alien Buddies Lost on Halloween Night’ - 6-Meter Giant UFO Lands in the Atrium - Sci-Fi Fun Creates a Family-Friendly Experience

Aligning with the 2026 UFO craze, Tsing Yi Citywalk transforms into ‘Alien Buddies Lost on Halloween Night’ from October 5 to November 1, 2026, offering a family-friendly Halloween experience with a sci-fi, playful style. A 6-meter-tall giant UFO makes a surprise landing in the atrium of Phase 1, with adorable aliens and alien cats appearing, making visitors feel as if they’ve entered an alien headquarters. Visitors can also pass through an alien tunnel to experience mysterious extraterrestrial powers. A giant UFO also lands at the 2nd-floor rooftop garden of Phase 2, launching a mysterious interstellar adventure in the newly renovated outdoor space! On selected weekends during the event, there will be a UFO-shaped drone performance, with professional operators flying a nearly 3-meter-diameter UFO through the atrium of Phase 1, Floor 1, for visitors to say ‘Goodbye UFO’! On other days, alien parades will take place, offering close-up interstellar encounters and hosting an alternative Halloween party!
